Hi Jin this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani and I'll be commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I really like the poem you created about walking on the moon - would you REALLY like to walk on the moon? I'm not too sure I'd like the journey there... Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break! Make sure you label each post correctly from the SLJ...
Talofa Jin! I was just catching up on some of your blog posts for the Summer Learning Journey. I especially liked this poem because I sure laughed at the closing line! Just to confirm, you did mean you tripped over your laces on the moon and landed on your face? It was a clever ending! I am closely watching SpaceX news and their plans to offer rides to the moon in the near future. You can check it out here: https://www.space.com/elon-musk-unveils-spacex-starship-2019-update.html You never know, perhaps everyday people like you and me will be able to afford the ride when it's as common as catching the bus! But, we'd have to make sure we wearing boots without laces!
That was a beautiful poem. Thank you so much for sharing that with us! Ka pai.
I have often thought about what it would be like to travel into space. I think if I had the opportunity to go there, I would probably stay because I'd miss my friends and family so much! Neil Armstrong was so brave going to the moon.
If you had the opportunity, would you go to the moon? I think the view would be phenomenal!
