HotDog
Part 3

I chose the book HotDog because I think that HotDog is a great book because it's funny, sad, and some might even say it's touching, and of course the main part it has a problem and a solution.

There is a group of amazing friends the names are Hotdog, Kev, and Lizzie. HotDog is a HotDog, Kev is a Cat and Lizzies a lizard. They were friends ever since. It all happened under a dark oak wood tree. You know how I said that they were best friends ever since, well that changed a little. Lizzie decided to run away with the circus! Her dream was to be a clown! Her sister is a famous trapeze star, but Lizzie is really afraid of heights! It was a sad moment for HotDog and Kev. HotDog and Kev really want to see their talented friend perform but they couldn't, I'm trying to say the're broke. They come with a great idea! Then to save up for money to see the show. Will everything go to plan?

Summer Learning Journey

(Summer Learning Journey)                              Sorry not a short story
I say that because the SLJ says I have to make a short story

*A Day In WWIII*

Late in the morning I here cop cars sirens. Sometimes in distance I even hear gunshots from ak47's. One day I was woken up from my worried Mum telling me to pack my bags. I asked why? but she just said to hurry. I slowly leaned over with my heavy eyes and I gaped at the clock. I noticed that it was one thirty in the morning. I went downstairs to brush my teeth. My brother had done the same as me and packed his bags. Meanwhile my Mum was packing all the food supplies and all the water in the kitchen cupboard. I didn't believe that we were just going to leave everything and just leave the city.

Mum put the car key into the car's key hole. The Master Demio started up with rage. The engine roared, then roared louder than all of a sudden it stopped and something exploded. The car bonnet looked if it was producing steam but it was the broken engine's steam phasing through the small gaps between the car bonnet. Mum tried to start up the car engine again but it roared even louder. Mum got out the car and checked the engine. One of the fuse's that was connect to the engine exploded while Mum had started the car. I poked my head out the open window and asked once more "Why are we leaving Mum?" but she just said "Son I'll tell you later, we don't have the time".

We had gone back into the house to search for a new spare fuse in a fuse box deep in the basement. My brother whispered to me "Hey, is it just me or Mum is acting weird?" I was thinking to much about where we were going so I just whisper back "Yea...".  Just as the time Mum found a new working fuse we could hear gunshots but not just gunshots from the distance the gunshots were right on top of our basement. We could also hear tanks slowly moving across the ground on top of us. As the tank move across pieces of dirt rained down from the ceiling. Mum told us to stay quiet.

We had stayed in the basement for eleven hours and the war is still going. Sparingly we eat our food and water Mum had packed. We hear rockets traveling over our house. While I was eating my dinner Mum finally told me why we were leaving. "Son, this is why we were going to leave it's because I didn't want to be stuck in war" Mum told me "How did you know it was coming?" I asked "I was watching a movie twelve hours back at night and the News disrupted my movie the News said to abandon our houses and leave the city we are getting disturbances from France.

Were they going to die in that basement from no food and water supplies or are they going to escape their destroyed city?

Honestly I think that my loving Mum should be on the ten dollar note, I know she's not the prime minister or the president but she's done an more important thing than all of that in my eyes and that is being my Mum I don't know what would happen if I lost her.

XOXO Always love you Mum! <3

Summer Learning Journey

(Summer Learning Journey)

There is a lot of awesome people in history. Rosa Parks is one, let me tell you about her. Rosa Parks was born in february the fourth, nineteen thirteen in Tuskegee Alabama. Sadly her parents didn't want to be together, so her and her Mum moved to Pine level, Alabama that means that she had to live with her grandparents. It also meant that she had to hear a lot of mean things to African Americans. It taught her she had to be strong! Her grandfather had to protect their farm because of the men to be known as Kukluxklan. They would find then kill African Americans. When it came to school the school was segregated it meant that black students couldn't go to school with white students. Rosa parks loved to be at school but she left it in eleventh grade to help her very ill Mum. Later in school she got her earning school degree.

In December the first, nineteen fifty five. Rosa Parks changed a lot about the law and African Americans just in a bus because of how white people treat African Americans. The local buses were also segregated, white people in the front black people in the back of the bus. African Americans would go to the front just to pay the ride on the bus then go back to the back of the bus. It was even color coordinated. That day Rosa Parks was moaned at by the bus driver to move her seat for a white lady to sit in her seat. Rosa was sick and tighered how it wasn't fear how their kind were treated like that, Rosa Parks refused to move witch that got her into deep trouble she got arrested. Montgomery bus boycott saw that all African Americans joined and refused to yous the bus to get around town. After Court said to not treat African Americans badly. Everything changed after that day to not treat others that have different skin color unfairly. Rosa Parks died at the age ninety two on october the twenty fourth, two thousand and five. We will remember Rosa Parks in history.

Summer Learning Journey

(Summer Learning Journey)

One thing I learnt is that students from schools in towns to cities around australia are trying to tell politicians to treat there speeches and tellings serious.

Another thing I learnt about School strike climate australia is that they demand no more new coal, gas projects and oil.

The last thing I learnt is that climate change is the biggest problem to face world.

This is me helping the environment.

Drops of water from the damp ceiling is continuously hitting the concrete ground that is creating a mold to form,  the drops of water reminds me of the ticking clock I youst to have in my bedroom when I was a child. My bed has mysterious orange stains and it smells like roadkill, I can barely sleep with it.
My jail cell door has some tagging, it looks if a few of the rusty bars were dented if someone tried to escape. It was lunch, the food was just chucky slop it tasted like a dog frew up dog food.

How many years are until you are 25?

(answer)> 16 years

(Why is the answer 16) I know my age is 9 years old. I also know that 10 + 9 = 19 and that 6 + 19 = 25 so 10 + 6 = 16

1. My loving parents are an huge part of my life. They look after me, they take me to awesome places like the movies they actually took me to see Jumanji (the next level) on 04/01/20 they also have my back. So I think that they are one of the important stuff in my life.

2. Friends will be another one of my important things because a true friend haves your back whenever  you are bullied or if you are struggling. A friend can help.
3. Working hard is important to me because it's real cool to hear how kids and adults are working hard to achieve goals like I am. I'm saving up for an Nintendo Switch!

(My own made) Summer Learning Journey

(My own) Summer Learning Journey (It is 2020!)

(Mission Bay New Zealand)
My long tongue and my taste buds together push slightly upwards against my delicious mango ice-cream. My taste buds tasted the mango flavoured ice-cream with me in shock. Soon on I feel a drip of my mango ice-cream on my clean hand witch is holding the crunchy ice-cream cone. As I lye on the soft grass constantly licking my ice-cream I look up into the dark night sky. With my mouth smothered in ice-cream I shout "Mum do you know what time it is?!?" Mum replies and shouts back "It is quarter till eleven!" (one hour and fifteen minutes until twenty-twenty!).
