Takihi is a Niuean dish with only three ingredients!

Pawpaw, coconut, and taro.

I enjoyed this task because I got to learn a new food from Niue!

I had to create 4 facts (in my own words)

about the master weaver, Makataone Pilokolu.

I really enjoyed this task because I got to know about a Niuean women who is still weaving ever since she was a kid!

Strawberry picking!

Yesterday I went strawberry picking with my family! Since it was a hot day, and the sun was burning up our skin, we decided to go strawberry picking. 

We were there at the perfect time too. I think it was a few days ago the berries weren't ready to be picked because they probably needed more time, using manure as a fertiliser.

While we were there we decided to get some fresh, cold ice creams, mmm they were yum! Dad was so tempted so he went to this waffle shop next store and brought this rich caramel waffle.

Not gonna lie that place was

better than the dairy we were going to.

Lock Down Birthday!

This month I had a lock down birthday. It was probably one of the best birthdays I'v ever had! 'What would have made my birthday one of the best birthdays I've ever had?' You thought. Well, my parents put together a BBQ for the whole family! And a well decor sitting room for my presents!

The whole day was really fun and blessed :)

Move on to my present opening! I had so many presents I didn't know what to chose from.

All of the presents were amazing, but my favourites would be the skateboard my uncle got me, the warm fluffy hoodie from my Mum, and this miniature version of the Dominion off Back to the Future from Dad.

My favourite part of the day was probably the food! Or the present opening! Or the money from my grandparents. Na :D 

There's so many parts of the day to choose from! 

Actually, I think the whole day was my favourite.

How's the lock down Auckland?

Hello blog viewers! If you didn't know, Auckland is in lock down sadly. And the cases have been going up. Things have been rough for Auckland. So in this post all I would like to say is hope everyone in New Zealand is doing okay. I hope everyone is following the community guide lines.

Stay strong New Zealand we all can get through this together. We've down it before and we can do it again.

Mount Wellington!

Welcome to my blog! Here I post work from school and stuff like this from home!

Today my family and I went to have a nice evening walk up Mount Everes- Wellington. It was really calming, which helped with the stink car sickness I had.

Later on, when we were about finished with the walk. When I was being a chatter box to Mum and Dad (as I always do :D), I started to notice that the warm sun's shone had stopped shining down on us.

Some rain clouds appeared out of no where, I anticipated a rain coming.

Speak of the devil, just as I finished that sentence,

a light rain leaked from the dark clouds. We quickly went to the car using a opposite path.

We got to the car but I had hair full of water droplets caught it. I guess its natures way of showering.

Toi Toi - Reading Activity Certificate - Footprints in the Sand

This is my Toi Toi certificate!

Toi toi is a website my Dad had recommended

to me. Basically it was lists of hundreds of reading activities for kids.

We get a video to either listen to or read the text underneath.

My story I chose was Footprints in the Sand.

I enjoyed this story because it was set at the beach which

gave the story teller a lot of details to mention in the text.

Lock down Pizza!!!

 Lock down Pizza!

Welcome to my blog! Here I post work from school and stuff like this from home!

Today we got to make homemade pizza for dinner! We may be in lock down, but it doesn't stop us from making delicious foods like this!

I enjoying making it because the process was really easy, which shows that it's surprisingly easy to make a pizza which costs less than the 20 bucks pizza at Domino's. (Their pizza is nice though).

Which pizza from Domino's is your favourite?                   If you could make any pizza which one would it be?

It's the holidays!

 Hello bloggers! And for the new viewers, Kia ora my name is Jin and here (my blog) I post work from school, and home learning!

It's the holidays now! Do you know what that means? It means more Monopoly to play with the family! And more Apex Legends. I am so excited, but sadly it's level 3 here in Auckland. But it's okay because I know for sure, Macca's will be open.

Anyway, I just wanted to say happy holidays and make sure to have a safe one!
