2022 Already?!

As we all know it is now 2022, and 2021 is behind us. But sadly Covid isn't. And also we have moved back into red light for our Traffic Light System. It's sad to say but Covid has been around for over 2 years and soon 3! I pray that Covid will be defeated and quite frankly stay around as if it were the common cold. Or even better gone for good.

Well anyway this post isn't about Covid it's about 2022! 2020 was a tough year followed by 2021 but now it's 2022 and I have a feeling that this year will be better than the others. Yes, we may still be in lockdown and yes, Covid is still lingering around but I'm still determined to keep thought Covid will be gone. And you should be too.

And since it's 2022 I thought it would be a good idea to have a new goal. My 2022 ambition is to save up and hopefully purchase a whole PC set-up. If you don't know what a PC set-up is, or a PC in general this part is specifically for you. A PC first off stands for Personal Computer! And a personal computer doesn't sound like much of a goal but there is more to it! I don't want to get to the details or I'll just go on and on and on. So basically a PC set-up could be for work, home, or gaming. I specifically want one for gaming and home. Why well I always looked into gaming. I watch a lot of YouTubers play games on mostly PCs and that is probably the main reason why I would a PC.

Well, you've heard a lot about me and what my goal is for this year. So maybe think for a goal and work to it and you may get what you wanted! And no it's not just about saving money and then buying it, it's about enjoying the work that you put in and yea. 

Again like I said in my last post I hope everyone is okay and doing well.

Kia ora New Zealand! As we all know, Auckland has moved into orange for our traffic light system, isn't that amazing! We have fantastic, new privileges that are aloud! Including going back to school and work. And yes, adult will need a vaccinations.

Anyway, this blog post is just to check up on New Zealand and thank you.

Thank you to everyone for being normal with the current stage we are at in life. Thank you for rolling with it, and giving each and every one of us energy and faith to defeat Covid.  Covid-19 has been a pain in the bum, but with everyone, yes including you there, we are still fighting through Covid and still living life!

Again thank you New Zealand and hope you are doing great!

And remember school holidays are almost over so more of these blog posts will be posted!

Strawberry picking!

Yesterday I went strawberry picking with my family! Since it was a hot day, and the sun was burning up our skin, we decided to go strawberry picking. 

We were there at the perfect time too. I think it was a few days ago the berries weren't ready to be picked because they probably needed more time, using manure as a fertiliser.

While we were there we decided to get some fresh, cold ice creams, mmm they were yum! Dad was so tempted so he went to this waffle shop next store and brought this rich caramel waffle.

Not gonna lie that place was

better than the dairy we were going to.

Lock Down Birthday!

This month I had a lock down birthday. It was probably one of the best birthdays I'v ever had! 'What would have made my birthday one of the best birthdays I've ever had?' You thought. Well, my parents put together a BBQ for the whole family! And a well decor sitting room for my presents!

The whole day was really fun and blessed :)

Move on to my present opening! I had so many presents I didn't know what to chose from.

All of the presents were amazing, but my favourites would be the skateboard my uncle got me, the warm fluffy hoodie from my Mum, and this miniature version of the Dominion off Back to the Future from Dad.

My favourite part of the day was probably the food! Or the present opening! Or the money from my grandparents. Na :D 

There's so many parts of the day to choose from! 

Actually, I think the whole day was my favourite.

How's the lock down Auckland?

Mount Wellington!

Today my family and I went to have a nice evening walk up Mount Everes- Wellington. It was really calming, which helped with the stink car sickness I had.

Later on, when we were about finished with the walk. When I was being a chatter box to Mum and Dad (as I always do :D), I started to notice that the warm sun's shone had stopped shining down on us.

Some rain clouds appeared out of no where, I anticipated a rain coming.

Speak of the devil, just as I finished that sentence,

a light rain leaked from the dark clouds. We quickly went to the car using a opposite path.

We got to the car but I had hair full of water droplets caught it. I guess its natures way of showering.

Toi Toi - Reading Activity Certificate - Footprints in the Sand

This is my Toi Toi certificate!

Toi toi is a website my Dad had recommended

to me. Basically it was lists of hundreds of reading activities for kids.

We get a video to either listen to or read the text underneath.

My story I chose was Footprints in the Sand.

I enjoyed this story because it was set at the beach which

gave the story teller a lot of details to mention in the text.
